Hands-on AI-Driven Development Seminar For Embedded Software Teams

AI-driven development for embedded software teams—
in a secure AI environment

Get hands-on with AI-assisted development and performance optimization without sending confidential code outside your organization. A private, on-site seminar tailored to your team's development challenges.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is for you if…

  • You haven't yet seen practical examples of how generative AI can be used in real-world embedded software development.
  • You're considering generative AI for development, but want to validate its impact on your own development challenges before deciding how to adopt it.
  • Your source code and confidential information cannot be sent to external cloud services, so you need a secure way to use AI.
  • You want to build AI-driven development skills across the whole team, rather than rely on individual training with limited team-wide impact.
What You'll Gain

What you'll take away from the two days

Work on your own challenges

Concrete evidence that AI works on your own code and workflows

On Day 2, you'll work on one of your team's actual development challenges with support from Fixstars engineers. Rather than a generic demo, you'll test how far AI-driven development can go with your own code and development process—giving you concrete evidence to support an adoption decision.

Keep confidential data in-house

A practical way to use AI without exposing confidential data

We bring a secure AI development environment to your office and run it on-site without sending confidential information outside your organization. If security concerns have kept generative AI off the table, you'll be able to evaluate a working environment firsthand and move the discussion forward.

Align the team

A shared workflow—and a foundation for broader rollout

Your engineering team spends the same two days learning and working together, building a shared understanding of how to approach AI-driven development. The final presentation also gives the team a clear way to articulate what they tried and learned—useful for internal reporting and broader rollout after the seminar.

Instructors

Instructors

Fixstars engineers who work hands-on with AI-driven development will lead the seminar at your office.

  • Takuro Iizuka

    Takuro Iizuka

    CTO

Takuro has worked in high-performance computing since the early days of CUDA, optimizing software across Cell/B.E., GPUs, multicore CPUs, and other architectures. His work spans compilers, hardware virtualization, distributed file systems, and domain-specific languages, turning performance engineering into production technologies and products. He currently leads AI platform development as CTO and AI Product Manager.

  • Akira Maruoka

    Akira Maruoka

    Senior Director, AI Business Division

Akira specializes in deep learning acceleration and optimizing compiler R&D, with years of experience improving performance across a wide range of hardware. His work spans low-level implementation through system architecture. He currently works on the AI platform development team, building performance engineering systems powered by AI agents.

  • Hotaka Yagi

    Hotaka Yagi

Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), AI Business Division

Hotaka specializes in software acceleration across architectures including CPUs, GPUs, and vector processors. In launching and validating new drone-based businesses, he worked on performance improvements for edge computing and embedded environments. As an FDE, he now translates customer AI workloads and operational requirements into technical requirements, identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks, and feeds field learnings back into product development.

* The instructor or instructors assigned to your seminar will be determined in consultation with you.

Process

How we get there

From your first inquiry to the seminar itself, we'll move through these four steps.

  1. 1

    Contact us

Tell us what you'd like to explore using the inquiry form.

  2. 2

    Pre-seminar consultation

We'll discuss your development challenges, environment, and expected number of participants.

  3. 3

    Customize the program and quote

Based on the consultation, we'll design the program and provide a quote.

  4. 4

    Two-day seminar

We'll run the two-day seminar at your office.

Frequently asked questions

The AI environment used for the seminar is set up either on an on-premises server managed by Fixstars or in a private cloud, depending on the number of participants and the seminar content. Information you enter is not sent to external generative AI services. We also do not use your input to train any models in our AI environment.

If your source code or confidential information will be used in the hands-on sessions, we confirm in advance what data may be handled and how it may be used, and proceed only within the agreed scope. We also agree in advance on post-seminar data deletion and log handling.

If using your own source code or confidential information is not feasible, Fixstars can provide sample code and development tasks for the exercises.
