Fixstars was selected as a Microsoft Innovation Award 2017 finalist
"Asakusa on M3BP" jointly developed by Fixstars Corporation (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Satoshi Miki, hereinafter Fixstars) and Nautilus Technologies, Inc. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Takeshi Kamabayashi, hereinafter Nautilus) was selected as the finalist for the "Microsoft Innovation Award" sponsored by Microsoft Japan, Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Takuya Hirano).
The "Microsoft Innovation Award" is an award that honors software, hardware, and IoT applications that utilize innovative ideas. They keywords here are: "technology innovation".
"Asakusa on M3BP" is a framework for implementing the operation and development of core batch processing on a parallel distributed processing platform jointly developed by Fixstars and Nautilus. Together we have developed its execution platform "M3 for Batch Processing" as its execution platform and opened it as open source software. "Asakusa on M3BP" achieves several tens of times cost-effectiveness by speeding up processing and reducing TCO, in addition to scale-up solutions as well as scaled-out solutions with parallel distributed processing.
