Applications Installed by Default

Yellow Dog Linux v6.x Default Application Set

Updating and Installing Additional Applications

You may use the command line yum, the graphical Add/Remove Software is used to install additional applications from the YDL Install DVD, or Pup (replacement for Up2Date) to update instlalled applications. These may be apps built for KDE, apps built for Gnome or the myriad of applications that are available from repositories such as Freshmeat, FreshRPMS, TuCows, and SourceForge.
