We are a pioneer in Cell/B.E. programming, and we offer our vast array of Cell/B.E. technical knowledge to the public.
Technical Information

- PLAYSTATION®3 Linux Information Site (Only Japanese)
- With the aim of increasing the adoption of Cell/B.E. and Linux that runs on top of it, PS3 Linux information and Cell/B.E. and Cell Linux information is made available.
- Cell Programming Tutorial (Only Japanese)
- The Cell Broadband Engine™ programming tutorial.
- NVIDA CUDA information Site (Only Japanese)
- This site is about NVIDA CUDA programming and tips.
- Getting Started with Cell Superscalar
- Need help optimizing your code for the Cell? The Barcelona SuperComputing Center labs are here to help; their Cell Superscalar (CellSs) framework aids in exploiting parallelism of a sequential program. Check out this article about how to install and get started using CellSs.
Cell/B.E. Open Source Project

- OpenCV on the Cell
- OpenCV is a computer vision open source library developed by Intel. OpenCV includes various features such as object identification, segmentation, face recognition, gesture detection, and motion tracking. Cell/B.E. is well suited for this type of vision computing processing, so Fixstars makes available "OpenCV on the Cell" for optimizing OpenCV on PS3.
- Cell ToolKit
- CTK is an open source C/C++ tool kit library for Cell/B.E. CTK is designed to improve Cell programming efficiency by making various utilities available. For example, CTK makes available synchronized queues for core messages, and SPE task structure for quick parallel execution units. CTK also realizes "write-once run everywhere" by making API sets available for libspe, libspe2, and Toshiba SPE library environments.
