- Fixstars Releases Software Encoder for Blu-ray 3D "Accelcoder X"

- Fixstars today announced their release of the Accelcoder X, the professional H.264 software encoder compliant to Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D standards. Accelcoder X is now available on the website at $1999 USD for 3D edition and $1299 USD for 2D edition. To celebrate the release, from today until November 29th, the full version of the Accelcoder X 3D Edition can be purchased at $999, approximately 50% off the list price.

- Fixstars announced today the release of the Accelcoder X, their new Blu-ray & Blu-ray 3D encoding software product for video professionals. Although release is scheduled for this fall, a wider beta version was provided today to get more feedback and incorporate it into the retail version.
