Preview of encoding results
Encoded video can be displayed if the "Blu-ray 3D/HD/SD for Authoring" template is selected.
In addition, the Local Bit rate, Encoded frame size, QP, and CPB (Coded Picture Buffer) of encoded video will be displayed on the timeline.
Segment re-encoding
Segment re-encoding allows you to select a desired scene from the encoded video, re-encode with different parameters, and to merge it with original video. It is useful for adjusting bitrate budgets for specific frame sets. Please note that segment re-encoding may be done for encoded video in either of "Blu-ray 3D/HD/SD for Authoring" template. To learn how to operate segment re-encoding, read the user manual.
Enhanced error detection
Errors that may occur during encoding and reading files can be detected in more detail. Please click here for the list of error codes.
Fixed bugs.
- Buffer underflow may occur when muxing on authoring software.
- Encoding may stop when ExpressAuthoring template is selected.
- Lisence authorization may fail if connected using a proxy server.
