The encoding speed will vary greatly depending on the hardware and environment you use. We recommend the following PC specs to a stress-free workflow.

Recommended System Configuration

  • Microsoft® Windows® 7 32/64bit (Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium) English or Japanese edition
  • 4GB or more main memory (RAM)
  • 100 GB or more of available hard-disk space
  • 7200 RPM hard drive for compressed video formats; RAID 0 for uncompressed video formats
  • NTFS file system
  • 1920x1080 display with DirectX9.0c-compatible graphics card
  • Built-in or external Blu-ray Disc drive and Blu-ray burning application for creating Blu-ray Disc media
  • Internet connection required for online services and to authorize and update license.
