Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D Support
Accelcoder X is capable of outputting 2D and 3D Blu-ray compliant elementary stream for authoring as well as several other formats including ISO files that can be burned directly to a Blu-ray disc, and MPEG2 Transport stream for IPTV streaming. These options are available as preset templates, allowing you to select your desired format simply and quickly.
Burn Directly to a Blu-ray Disc
Express authoring functionality for both 2D and 3D formats allows the output data to be written directly to Blu-ray without authoring software. The express authoring function enables the whole work-flow to be done seamlessly and efficiently on a single machine.

3D Support
Accelcoder X supports a high compression Side by Side format, as well as the standard High-definition MVC format. The side-by-side method compresses the videos for the left and the right eyes down vertically, such that each frame contains 2 images placed side-by-side. As this allows for data to be transferred in the same manner as 2D videos, it is commonly used in 3D movie productions as well as TV broadcasts. The Side by Side filter of Accelcoder X takes in videos for the left and the right channels to output a video in H.264 AVC format. This Side by Side filter is a common feature of 2D/3D Blu-ray.
Various Input Formats
Commonly used formats in post-productions such as QuickTime, Uncompressed AVI, and MPEG-4 AVC are supported as input formats. In addition, DPX and TIFF sequential files used in the process of filmmaking can be encoded as well.

- Supports down conversion from HD to SD, as well as Up conversion from 1280x720 to full HD.
- Frame rate conversion
- 60/30/24 can be converted to each 59.94/29.97/23.976 during encoding.
